Weather was nice and I finally got a chance to get some work done.
Spent a while polishing a couple of barrels, one for an 11-87sm and one for an 870sm.
here are some pics of the before & after.... sorry for the quality, but you get the idea.
Here are my patterns for today.
First one is from the 870sm with 23" polished barrel shooting 3.5/2.25/6 through an I.C. .665 choke. Got 211 in a 10" circle @ 40yds.
Second is the 11-87sm with 23" polished barrel shooting 3.5/2.25/MB through a JH .665 choke. Got 189 in a 10" circle @ 40yds.
Third was a better pattern with the 11-87sm & I.C. choke, just ran out of adjustment with the open sights, guess if I go with that combo, I will need to put the scope back on or get a Mueller sight. Got 241 in a 10" circle @ 40yds.
