Well I wasn't planning on hunting much this year , just taking the oldest on the juvenile hunt . Well got offered a great opportunity today to go bowhunt the Rut in Wisconsin . I told him I probably wouldn't be able to make it because of the new baby and work stuff .. Well I was telling my wife about it and she asked " Why did you say no ? You should go ! " I asked her if she was serious and she said " Yes ! Your not gonna get to hunt as much as you normally do , so I don't have a problem with you going for a week or two to hunt ."

Well now I have some planning to do . Oct. 30-Nov13 bowhunt in one of the highest B&C counties in the last 5 years .

My brother inlaw made a "once in a life time" trip to Illinois and was planning on just making it one trip up there to see what the fuss was about. That one trip ruined him. He invested in a lease up there and all his hunting vacation will be during their seasons. He said TN wasn't even worth the time to go in the woods compared to up there.
