What are the birds doin in west tn? Thinking about heading down there toward the end of the week.

Hunted McNairy County this morning. Very slow. Heard 1 bird gobble twice.

Same here. I'm about to go crazy. On a good day I might get 3 gobbles on the roost. Not enough to even pinpoint a location. Zero this morning.

McNairy is where I was headed. I may have to rethink it gobbling good here in middle tn, but my buddy is dying to head out there to hunt so fields instead of all the wooded areas we have.

I'd pick the woods with lots of birds over fields any day... Easier to call one in the woods too, imo
