I went ahead and bought a dozen of carbon arrows today with the blazer vanes, and I just got back in from shooting them, and man, they have shrunk my broadhead groups a whole lot!!! Im estatic over these things! These things are awsome!I'll never shoot 4in vanes again! I couldn't get my broadheads to group no better than 5 or 6 inches and now they are grouping 3inches or better,im sure they will group better than that as soon as my replacement brushes get here for my hostage arrow rest,i'll be good to go and be ready to let some air out of some lungs!! IM READY!

Congrats.

All I shoot are Carbon Express Maxima with 2" Blazers.

Good groups, and the fletching are very durable.

If you like blazers try the Fusion vanes made by Duravanes. They are stiffer and a little more low profile. Really helps stabalize broadheads.

I agree on the Blazer and Fusion vanes. But the comment made about never shooting anything over 4 inches I feel is wrong. If a new type of vane was to be produced and said that you could stabilize broadheads with 2 four inch vanes the majority would jump on the band wagon. I guarantee it.

I argee on the Blazers, have them on my gold tips.....but I would never go back to 4" even if there was only 2. 4" slows my arrow down too much through the whisker! :D

replacement brushes hostage arrow rest,

Where did you get replacements, my cousin has a rest like that and he needs new ones?
I ordered them from my local archery shop up the road. They said they was sold out. They has some brand new parker bows with the hostage rest on it,and told me I could take the brushes off of it.So I did,and they work great!

I would really like to try the blazer vanes after seeing how all of you guys talk about them since I shoot a whisker biscuit. My vanes are starting to wrinkle a little bit on about half of my arrows. I wish I would have thought about it a couple of weeks ago so,I could have had some of them redone.

All i have ever shot outa my bow is feathers they will group my arrows dam near touching at 30 yards I cant see how I could do much better with anything else. What makes the blazer vanes so stable if they are shorter?

Unicam....wasn't meaning anyone in particular just that most folks don't do enough experimenting with their equipment to find and know what it will do. I said it several years ago that short vanes could stabilizer a broadhead. I played around with it myself and found out it could and would. I was shooting 3 2.1" vanes years before Blazers come on the scene. I have also shot 4 2.1" vanes. I really liked the flight of this set up.It made the shot extremely quite. The real downside to this was you got fewer arrows fletched from a 100 bag of fletching. Weight wise it wasn't that noticeable. But I did use AAE vanes when I used this set up. They are a bit lighter.

I can put more helical on a 4"feather than a blazer vane and have a more forgiving and lighter fletching setup through a WB . A Blazer weighs 5 gr. per vane and my feathers are 3 gr.
