What are the chances of…..

I'd say never but it breaks my heart to see him in a dodgers jersey. Same goes with Rizzo wearing a Yankee's uni. Is there word that he may be traded back?

I know he fired his agent after he returned to ATL over the weekend.

From the reports I've seen his agent told thr braves they have 1 hour to match a MUCH higher over then there 5 year 135 million deal they offered.

Braves said nope can't match a MUCH higher offer then $135 million and freddie went to LA. It's came out now if you factor in California tax His making no more in LA then he would have been in ATL if he would have signed the 135 deal the braves offered.

Yea his agent should've been fired sooner for sure. I look at it as the contract of Olson and the contract that Freddie got were not crazy far off considering his solid performance and what he meant to the Braves. I'm glad you brought up the tax issue cause that's one of the things I was factoring in. The man showed plenty of emotions when back in Atlanta. I was hopeful he would start and finish his career there like Chipper but when I step back and think…. Well his wife really wanted to get back to the west coast and you're ALREADY making millions so as the saying goes "Happy Wife, Happy Life". I know he's not coming back but it sure wouldn't hurt my feelings if he did. Then you got Olson with his contract and playing that position so I think if the Braves work with Olson over the next year or two that first base will be good for a while IF IF IF Olson doesn't get hurt.

The bigger issue is that his agent never even presented the Braves' offer to him. The consensus is that he probably would have taken the Braves' offer and not moved.

I have a feeling this isn't over, not by a long shot.

That's what I heard last night.

He never even saw the braves "FINAL" offer rumors is he heard about the offer when he went back to ATL over the weekend. Probaby why they are so many pics of him moping around on the bench. He just learned the braves did give him real nice offer better then $135 million but he never knew about.

I thought even I HEARD the offer during that time so I don't know how Freddie couldn't hear about it. I feel like the city of LA is not as welcoming to him as he thought it would be and he's not the face of the Dodgers like he was with the Braves. Toss on the crazy tax situation on the west coast and just the craziness of the west coast and he probably is missing Atlanta but I think he'll adjust well out there and when a World Series with the Dodgers and be glad he made the switch in a couple of years.

I remember hearing or reading something that his wife wanted to go back to the west coast. Not sure if that was true or just a rumor but I'm thinking if he has $135 mil on top of what he's already made she can fly back and forth as much as she wanted to.

He will for sure win a world series with the Dodgers, but it won't be close to the same as the one he got in ATL.

He was drafted by that team was the face of that franchise for a decade, and finally against all odds that year went on a magical run to win it all. For the first time in over 20 years.

If he wins one with LA just be another dude LA bought just another dude on the team

Yea it surely won't be a special win for him. I guess I just need to give Olson a chance and hopefully he's a straight laced as Freddie was.

With LAs payroll I understand the recent post that mention them winning a WS...(yawn).

But imagine if the reverse happens.... Freddie in LA and Atlanta wins another WS... (not impossible) ...talk about controversy with his former agent.

Chop on!

ATL will be in the mix again with LA standing in the way it's happend time and time again. LA usually comes out on top besides last year.

I wouldn't be surprised to see ATL play LA in the post season this year. ATL is leading the NL wildcard right now. Just 3.5 outta first with alot of games left. I would love to see a LA vs braves post season again.

For Atlanta the Mets series next week will be interesting.... currently Mets have Reds and Braves have Cards....so advantage Mets ...but they are just now at half way point of the season.... plenty of baseball left.....go Braves!
