I've always shot ACC shafts but I'm thinking about switching over to something else because of lack of availability on the ACC's. I'm thinking about the Maxima Carbon Express 250s. I see they make 3 types. What's the difference in them and tell me why or why not to choose the Carbon Express.

Whether or not your bow like carbon express or not is the question. I shot a PSE nova for years with carbon express and did great. When I got my mission I went a bought a new set of the carbon express speed freaks matched the spine up and everything paper tuned the whole nine yards. They just wasn't shooting good out of NY new bow so I went with beaman pro hunters I think that's what there called and they do great.

I shoot the maxima hunter 250, best arrows I've ever owned and I've had them all! Very high quality and I do alot of killing/shooting at 60-70 yards. You will like them Mike.

Those are great arrows and nothing wrong with going with carbon express. I did just get a dozen Deer Crossing Archery Arrows and they fly great. They are also very reasonably priced.

My only complaint with CX is the Maximas I shot in 2006 are far less fragile than the newer Maximas. I constantly see ppl having trouble with Maximas and Mayhems as far as durablilty goes. Easton ACC's are one of the top 3 arrows on the market IMO. I am shooting Black Eagles now and I think they are one of the toughest arrows around and have the tightest tolerences.

I bought some Easton ST N-Fused Axis FMJ arrows. How can they be bad with a long name like that?

I like them. The combination of alluminum and carbon is a great idea.

I have shot the mx maximas mach 5's mayhams and the pile driver. and they shoot great but as said before they are not the most durable arrow but fly great. out of them the mach 5's and the maxima blue streaks were the most durable. but your going to pay for the blue streaks. sense I went up to energy wave matt switched me to black eagle carnivores and so far they are great! and Easton makes a great arrow to. but they didn't shoot as good out of my bow. but I didn't test that many of them.
