Got a new piece of property to hunt. Would you shoot this deer or let him walk? How old do you think? He is a 6pt. Really a 5pt with a kicker.

i think you should do whatever makes you happy. happiest hunter i saw last year was a 13 year boy. His dad and he dropped his first deer ever at the shop to get mounted. it was small fork horn.. man that kid was on cloud 9. he was trying to tell me the story so fast he got all mouth twisted and could barely breathe...right then i thought, man all hunters should feel that way!

thatd be my biggest deer to date...so yes i would shoot him... if i had more places to hunt and work on consistently, i would probably let him walk..
