to practice shooting...

I climbed on my roof a couple years ago and took shots into the back yard... I did this six or seven times... I was decked out in my hunting gear because it is the best way to prepare..

I finally decided to quit after I noticed the neighbors out in the yard pointing at the camo Ninja on the roof....

Oh yeah,I have a new roof now and I hate to mess up the shingles..

They all think I am some sort of nut case anyway... It sux to live in a neighborhood...

:D :D dang

We shoot off the the platform of my climbing stand. Shoot sitting down, on our knees. I've never climbed my roof to shoot my bow, but it would work.

I normally put a ladder stand up in my yard and practice out of it,but where we live now,i can even shoot my bow here because of other houses,so i have to shoot at my dads house and he doesn't like looking at a ladderstand in his yard all summer...LMAO He said your targets are ok,but the ladder stand is a no go!

I've shot off of my roof several times. My neighbor had a big sycamore we used to shoot from but the top fell out of it and took our permanent stand out.
