I've been shooting field points up until today and i thought i would throw my broadheads on and shoot a few.Man oh Man!!! Im shooting horrible with them.I don't know what happend.Last year they was shooting the same as my field points. How can you tell that your string has streched? Can you see the strech marks on the string?

# Brace Height: 7-1/8"
# Axle-to-axle: 305/8"

Turn your bow down to full poundage (bottomed out). Remember the number of turns it takes to get there so you can return it to the same poundage later. Take a tape measure and measure from one axle to the other. It should be 30 5/8 or very close. If not, your cable or string has stretched. It will take a few twist to your string or cable. If you don't do your own work take it to a respectable pro shop (I personally don't recommend BP) to have it set back to factory specs. Have your specs available for the tech. Checking your specs is a good starting point granted nothing has gotten bumped or moved such as your rest. If your specs are fine check your limbs, cams, and just go over the entire bow. If it was shooting good last season there is no reason why it won't do it again as long as there's not a catastrophic failure such as a broken limb.

Good luck

You may want to try to line up the blades with the vanes on your arrow and see if that helps. Are you grouping with the broadheads or all over?

They seem to be grouping fine.Just not shooting the same as my field tips. They was shooting the same last year.Im gonna get out and shoot some more tomorrow and try to narrow it down and trouble shoot.I didn't have much time today, just enough time to notice something was different.

This chart should help you out. Also check out this thread from archery talk.

Agree that muzzy's are sparratic. Never had a set fly like points. Not many fixed blades do. String stretch will take you out of tune a liitle. Shoot through paper to check that.

What kind of broadheads would you guys recomend??Note my bow shoots great with field tips..I've heard good things on the rage broadheads.
