I think the HV load is 2 ounces at 1330 fps and the Magnums are 2 1/4 ounce at 1250 fps
This is basically it except the High Velocity's are 1300 fps out the barrel and the Win Supreme's (red shell) are 1150 fps. The HV's are traveling faster because they have less shot (2 ounces compared to 2.25 ounces). I shot the 12 gauge 3.5" Win High Velocity shells (black) for 10+ years with great results.

I grabbed the red shells on accident last year and they shot like crap, went and bought a box of high velocity which is what I meant to buy in first place and they eased my mind lol

I have been shooting the Double X magnums for 14 yrs now. 3" #6 2oz They pattern a lot better than the high velocity shell in both my 870 and my Benelli

Thanks fellas!
So should the XX pattern just a little bit better than my HV because they have an extra 1/4 oz of shot in them? I am shooting a 3in shell.

You will definitely have more pellets going down range with a 1/4 ounce more shot but that does not necessarily mean it will pattern better. I shot both shells in the 3.5" versions and the HV patterned better in my gun (more dense and fewer voids in the pattern). That is just my experience with my gun/choke setup, others may be different. The only way to know for sure is to shoot both in your setup for a direct comparison.
