This isn't just to add another what........? Thread. I've been having trouble with my fletching. I get them proffessionally done and they don't wantto stay on. Luckily the guy that does mine is nice enough that he will do them for free.
I got 7 arrows back from him and shot three. Two of them came off the first shots. I was planning on just saving the other four as hunting arrows but I'm worried they will fall of while hunting. It doesnt affect accuracy much when they fall off(actually they just rip halfway off) but it sounds like an airplaine when they flap in the air.
My only thought is it may be my whisker biskit. My local shop pointed out that the WB on my bow is for alluminum shafts and I shoot carbon. I think this might cause the arrow to strike it at a downward plane which cuts it but idk.
Anyways what works best for y'all? Fletching and glue.
