Just wondering what kinda bow presses you all have & use? I have a EZ Press and I love it.

I have used a Bowmaster for years. Now I am going to have to get something that will press bows that are past parallel at rest. I am thinking I'm going to go with a Nighthawk. I just don't have room for a full size press right now.

That's the reason I like that EZ Press so much. not big and works great on past parallel limbs. I Think I paid like $422 shipped for mine.

I'm fixing to order a new Pro scale drawing board. I really like them.

Good Lord that's a lot of coin ($649 for Deluxe and $299 Basic) for a metal sawhorse, cheap digital scale, and winch. You can build the same thing for under $100 or even less if you have scap material already available. There's a great DIY thread on ArcheryTalk for building your own.

I not getting a new one...buying a used from a local guy. Going to pick it up this weekend. Its the delude model as they call it...lol. I gave him $130 for it. Good deal I thought.

$130 is not so bad. But it is a bit confusing that you first said you were "fixing to ORDER a NEW Pro scale drawing board"...and then you say you're not getting a new one but buying a used one from a local which also wouldn't have you ordering anything.

Either way, a draw board of some kind is essential to setting up and tuning a bow...especially hybrid/binary cam systems. I'm trying to decide whether to build my own or get the attachment Frank makes for the Bow-A-Constrictor press like I have. Sneaky Outdoors has the Bow-A with the draw board attachment....you can do all the work without ever taking it out of the bow press. I go down and use his press and drawboard quite a bit, even though I have the same press at my house. It's hard to check draw length, letoff percentage, and cam timing without a draw board. Frank's attachment is about $200 or so (or is use to be) and I like not having to take the bow in and out of the press to work on it with the attachment....vs building my own draw board would have be putting bow in it...seeing where it's at...taking bow out of it...back in the press, etc.

I didn't find it till last night. I was telling g a guy that wanted one. He gave me a guys # who one for sale. I'm going to get it Saturday. He said it was a pro scale...just hope its what he said
