what you use for cleaning your turkey slayers

Ive used Hoppes for years but may try some other stuff this year like the Shooter's Choice Shotgun & Choke Tube Cleaner.

just wondered what folks use to clean out all the junk in shotgun barrels.

Hoppes. Then the cotton squares to wipe down. Even use plastic picks to scrape all the grooves I can get to. Then lightly oil it. Also lightly oil threads on choke tube.

Hops, dry patch, rubbing alcohol to break up the solvent, dry patch

Yeah I've used alcohol in my shotguns as the final patch. Works great on chrome barrels getting the oils out

Your supposed to clean em? I cleaned mine once when I wouldn't eject with wd 40.

I wipe mine down with Rem oil after everytime I use one of em but I don't know that I've ever cleaned the inside of the barrel

Man, you boys would be amazed at what your patterns would look like if you really cleaned out all the plastic and fouling. I have had a 30 pellet differnce in a dirty barrel vs clean on. Have seen even more then that in some.

Slither a bore snake thru then just a little Rem oil on the shell type. On the muzzle loader dry patch just before I load it
