Not only does Sunbelt billy have the Gators setting at 4-4 with 1 Confidence win hanging out with Vandy at the bottom on the SEC. UFs worst conference start in 40+ years.. His now letting the best defensive player walk out? Cox lead florida in TFL and Sacks last season. He was leading them in QB hurries and TFL this season. Started all 32 games in his UF Career. All I've seen from billy is "we have decided to move on"

Also funny a reporter was caught saying "I don't give a f*ck … I'll be here longer than Billy Napier. I can promise that,"

Ole billy boy got some work to do. He just watched Heupel win 7 games with half a roster. vols had 25 scholarship players leave after the 2020 season more than any other power 5 program! Less then 2 years later UT setting at 8-0.

I wonder if Cox was a locker room problem and seeing they weren't doing much this year was trying to set the tone about positive attitudes for the future. Billy's recruiting is decent for this next year, he's missed on a few but overall is solid.

Yeah, recruiting has never been the problem for UF though. According to 247 from 2016-2021 Uf has top 15 classes every. 3 of those years they had top 10 classes.back to back top 8 classes in 2019 and 2020.

Brenton Cox was dismissed from UGA before transferring to UF. He had attitude problems at UGA, got caught for weed IIRC, and did not respond well to discipline or coaching. But all indications were that he had turned a corner with his fresh start at UF. I don't want to speculate what caused his dismissal, but Billy Napier said that it was "cumulative." I dunno

After 32 starts for UF sounds like he did turn the corner. Something went wrong with him and billy

I wonder if Cox decided to take his foot off of the gas and coast the rest of the way to keep from getting injured, and concentrate on the NFL; and Napier may have called him out on it.

I honestly think Napier can be successful if given time.

Sunbelt Billy has more than enough talent, he should be winning more games. Seems a little too big for him?

Not watched any UF game besides the UT game Cox was a nonfactor. Then again most the elite pass rushers vols have faced have been a nonfactor.

We will see he gets A&M, SC, and Vandy coming up.

KY loss at home looks alot worse after they lost to ole miss, SC and then the vols smashed them.

We all know that good QB llay is a huge key to a team's success.

AR has a lot of similaraties to Guarantano.

I still can't believe that we didn't have somebody who could play the position better than him.

It will be interesting to see if AR can develop in the nuances needed to be a good QB.

Coz always plays half a game hard. BN has full support from everyone inside the AD office. He is doing things his way and thinning out Mullens players Bcse nobody knows how bad things were under Mullen. No discipline at all. Napier will continue to thin the roster of those guys that doesn't buy in.

This year was almost a evaluation season for him to see who responds the right way. Look for another RB of Mullens to hit the portal.

In reference to Heupel winning. He did have a experienced QB that really helped.

But we shall see.

Experienced yes, but he wasn't supposed to be half this good. Heck even Heupel didn't think he would start. Hooker had never complained 100 passes in a season. He got benched at VT. I think that says alot more about Heupels scheme and coaching ability more so then hooker being experienced. He more then doubled his completions, Yards, Tds and attempts in 10 games Under hype. He wouldn't have done that anywhere else. The roster was still depleted Heupel took over a very bad situation.
