whats wrong with this bird?

I got several pics of this bird and its only got one tail feather, I really cant tell if its a young jake or a hen, what yall think im purty sure its a hen but not completely positive. but why has it only got one tail feather?

Thats not close to Herbertsburg is it? Cause I ran over one last fall with my 4 wheeler and tore all it's tail feathers out LOL
