I put the stealth mode into gear yesterday walking to my blind.. didn't spook a single deer.. until I looked at my camera this morning and realized this photo was taken the exact moment I entered the woods… lol

I use video exclusively now and I'm shocked how often I will have one or more deer in front of the camera "doing their thing" and then suddenly all heads lift up and look in the same direction. Turning up the volume on the video, I can't hear anything. Yet one minute later here's the video of my driving up on my ATV. The deer could hear it coming from a LONG way away.

I used to hunt S Fla where dam near every piece of land has cows on it . You think you slippin so dang quiet ,no critters blow, stomp, bark ,howl ,etc . You slip up to an opening over looking a pasture and …….
DAMMIT MAN you have 500 cows staring dead at your ass😡😡
If they know you there then deer dam sure do .
Tuff to fool Mother Nature

It's amazing how many deer we spook without ever knowing it.
Certainly true.

And then there's the ones you can't seem to spook. Can't tell you how many times, walking in without being quiet in the morning, I've seen deer's eyes up ahead of me. As long as I keep my head down and don't look right at them, they often just let me walk on past.
