wher do you like to hunt?

i know anywhere there are turkey,, what i mean is like do you like to hunt around sloughs, big ridges, food plots , woods ? whats your favorite ?

A place with a river, bottom fields, and steep mountains above.

around home here, we have a bunch of bottom land with sloughs and some ridges . and the turkey seem to always roost close to the sloughs.

i like hunting a place with steep ridges with mature hardwoods on em and a field below it. nothin like a having a gobbler fly down off roost and land in your lap.

for turkey.....mixed open hardwoods with small fields mixed in.

my personal fav is mixed hardwoods with pines with some small foodplots or fields (2-3 acre). just grew up hunting in bama with that type of terrain so that is what i love.

River bottoms along the mighty Duck. Best turkey hunting in the southeast, hands down. When my buddies from Georgia,South Carolina and Florida leave their spots to hunt here, must be pretty good. Marshall, Maury, Bedford Counties and surrounding areas are #1 for prime turkey hunting.

It seems around here big ridgetop fields with bordering hardwoods seem to work well.

Hardwoods with steep hills, separate the boys from the men when the turkeys are up on them things Also, like hunting rivers, turkeys love roosting over water so find ya a river and start hooting
