Where to Catch the Biggest Crappie in Memphis Area?

I generally fish the Mississippi lakes; Sardis, Enid, Tunica, Arklabutla. I catch more fish at Sardis. I catch fewer fish at Enid but some of my biggest. I catch even fewer at Arklabutla but potential is there for some nice slabs. How about you guys? Where do you do the best?

I don't really crappie fish but I see pictures of some big ones that come out of Pickwick Lake.

Granada is noted for its three pounders. Here is one I caught a few years ago.

Sometimes I can't stand how we seem to be around plenty of water, yet have such relatively poor fishing opportunity...

With the closure of North Lake and Lakeview, our options have fallen considerably.

I used to go to Dacus Lake just on the other side of the river - the crappie I caught were fair-sized, but I haven't been back in there since the silver carp invasion (just to give you an idea of how long it's been).

Nowadays, I just saunter to the truck and get ready for a 2-hour drive...
