I have 2 stands in a high traffic buck area. 1 stand is old and a short ladder stand. This year I hung a new stand 100 yards deeper in the timber in a thick area where I have a lot of buck sign. During bow season saw several large bucks but just couldn't get a shot.
Now the rut is on seems like the deer have moved to crossing between these 2 stands
The old stand I have larger viewing area but in thick area not as much.
The new stand I have better view of the thick area but not behind me where seems the deer are passing through now between the 2 stands
Which should I hunt neither have the best view of the area they pass through
