My family is having to sale our farm that me and my father have hunted for a long time I figured since it has a lot of hunting I would try to get it on here but wasn't sure where to post the thread?

Hearing you say "having to sell" makes me want to say....sorry to hear this....hope everything is ok.....if I can think of anything positive to say it's that property values are up and it should bring top dollar.....but I always hate to hear "family farm" and "selling" used in same sentence....but I totally understand some situations can't be avoided....good luck with the sale....do some homework....run some comps to understand what land is selling for in the areas....then ask more...you can always come down.

Thank you for the advise! It's all good it was my Papaw's mother and fathers place he has so many siblings me and my dad was the only ones hunting it and keeping up with the taxes and all the siblings that's still living and their kids and etc want to sale it and me and dad can't afford to buy them out but it's all good we enjoyed going down and camping and hunting it

I still hate to hear that. Hopefully someone will buy it to farm. If people still do that these days. Why don't you try to sell it to the state they have deep pockets. And maybe you all can still hunt it when all is said and done. Best of both worlds. I'm not sure how to go about that. Seems like a good idea though. Good luck

Realtor. Landandfarm

Or do fsbo on here, then the buyer or I'm sorry then the Buyer on here will work out the legal aspects by hiring the real estate and then a law firm to take care of the paperwork

and then you guys can decide in closing cost so you can do it multiple ways

Contact local Real Estate agent (actually a couple and interview).
This has always been the best way for me to sell a property. They take all the headaches out of selling a tract. The cost is also very minimal for the work a realtor does.
