Where???

Heard nothing in two trips yesterday. Went fishing also. At dark I was standing outside and my neighbor was shooting his gun and I finally heard one gobble on the roost right where I had been a couple hours earlier. Was too wore out to get up this morning. Lol

they've been absolutely hammering on the roost and for a few minutes after flydown here. After that, they've gobbled back to calls nearly every time I've gotten within 150 yds or so. Not been hearing a lot of free gobbles during the day yet.

I wish they were thick in that area again, I need a giles county bird before I venture out any further

I seen two strutters with a group of hens in the field at the barn last week that's the first time I've seen them there in a couple years.
 
I've never heard an ole gobbler sound off. Last year I called 2 hens in and that was my season. Saturday morning nothing, and not much sign either. Last year that area had decent sign.
