Which arrow?

first, what shaft are you planning on using? alum, carbon or wood?
are you drawing that 28", or 27" or 30"?

My draw is 29" and i would prefer carbon

carbon is what I shoot out of my longbow. my draw weight is around 50#. it took me a couple of years and several dozen arrows to find my combination. I recommend starting off with a shaft of .500 spine. carbons are stiffer than alum and wood so you will more than likely need to increase your point weight to weaken your spine so you will get good paradox around the riser, taking for granted your are shooting off the shelf. I have tried insert weights, etc. I now avoid the weight and just order the size field points I need from a trad archery supplier.
My combo shaft and point weight is the .500 spine shafts for 45-60 range with a 175-180gr field point/BH weight. my BH are 145gr glue-on snuffers with 34gr long adpaters glued in. I order my stuff from Kustom King.3 Rivers has these supplies also.

another way to increase point weight is to replace the inserts with brass inserts. if you find the right combo, you can purchase 125gr screw ins in your FP, BHs and blunts. the biggest hassel is getting the factory installed inserts out.

I shoot a 53# Tomohawk SS longbow. I shoot Carbon and wood. I really like Carbon Express and also Beeman HITs. The HITs are more durable and with a 160-200 grain broadhead insert combo, you should be right on at 29" and 45 (add 2.5-3# for each additional inch of draw over 28' IF.....your bow was weighted at 28"

Wood is awesome, quiet......and very deadly. Way too expensive unless you build your own as I do. It takes alot of time and pacience, but that what wintertime is for. I agree with the above post on 3Rivers Archery. They are great and have pros on staff to answer all your questions from 9-5 daily. Check 'em out!
