I am new to crossbows, when I first started to shoot my new crossbow I wasn't sure if it was for me. But after getting it dialed in out 60 yards and having my wife and daughter being able to shoot it just as good, sealed the deal. Now my question, which broadhead are yall shooting. I am shooting the strikezone 380.

125 Spitfires. No premature opening, and complete opening when strikes.
The only time I haven't had complete pass through was a downward shot from the treestand, with a spine hit. Deer never took another step.

Why so few shooting 125s?
You might lose a little speed, but doesn't the increased mass/penetration more than makes for it?

I have been shooting the 100g spitfire since they made xbows legal for all,I have shot them from all angles & all have been pass thru's,why change something that's been working for so long?

So many great BH's its hard to list them all. Some fixed will actually hit very close to the field pts do. Same wid many mech. BH's.I have used G5 Montec's & Strikers. Magnus Stingers. RazorTricks. NAP Spitfires. Rockett Steelheads. Boltcutters. You will jus have to pick what you like & try them out of yer model crossbow to see how they do wid accuracy

I always shot 100 gr Spitfires out of my compound and thought I could with my new Matrix, they shot "ok" but the 125's are a little more accurate out past 30 yards.
And yes, the 125's will have a little more kinetic energy but I never had a problem with pass threws with the 100 grainers.
