I hate it for him, and hopefully it isn't season ending.

I really wish he were playing. Besides the obvious excuse factor, TN has a very poor history against backup QBs.

The Del Rio post went from him being injuried to team stat rankings. Went down hill from there.

I haven't seen may fans making excuses because of LDR injury. I believe most fans believe the Gators matchup well with UT in Neyland Stadium!!!

I believe Appleby is as good or better than Del Rio. Coach Mac went with the younger talent, good move. I do not think it is a good match up for the Vols without the injuries, it could get ugly with all the injuries they have. I think it will be 12 years with a loss to Florida at this point. The hype has not converted into performance on the the field. Even gator n buck can see it between hot dog sales from the concession. :super:

Heisnt as good as LDR... He is a better athlete with a better stronger arm but his knowledge of going through the progressions are not as good and his accuracy as well. LDR was better than a lot gave credit for.

We all know TN history with backups. I can never forget 2001 sec champ game, LSU QB goes down at the half and they come back and beat us with a back up.

I hate it for the kid, I would like to see both of us healthy and at our best when we play Saturday. Our defense will be thinner without Cam, JMR, and Kirkland..probably our 3 best on D. I hope we can pull it out, but with the injuries, I am a little concerned. But I'll be there routing for the big orange as hard as I can, maybe a rockin Neyland will help attle the new QB

Tough to see anyone go down especially when its a future opponent. All the best for a full recovery and looking forward to playing the best UF can put on the field Nov 26.

Florida should be able to win with there Defense alone.

Vols have been sacked multiple times against Vtech, bobcats, and app st. While they only rushed 3 sad.....

Vols put the ball on the ground 4 times against the bobcats...... Sad.

You can done book it Dobbs will have a strip sack or pick.

The special teams play has been bad. berry has looked good if someone is finally brave enough to kick to him. I'm guessing Florida will not give him a chance. I don't see the vols moving the ball well at all scoring very few points. I don't think Florida's offense will put up huge #'s but there defense will set them up good they will cash in on a few of them.

Florida should win.

Your posts have not been an issue. There is a small group on here that tries to turn every thread into a peeing contest with other fan bases. There are some on both sides of some fences. Threads have been eliminated when it turned into a ya-yaing contest.

The parameters have been pretty well outlined in the sticky at the top. It appears that turning off accounts will need to be done.

Again, if folks want to intelligently talk sports, this is a place to do it. If they want to talk trash, it needs to go to another playground.
