I have been shooting expandlbles last few years. Killed 3 deer with em and they preformed flawlessly I know a lot of people hate em what brands do yall shoot? I shoot carbin express torids from walmart there 15$ but they kill deer :)

I shot the Nap spitfire last year for the first time and they put a number on that deer.Im gonna go to the Nap spitfire Pro this year,it has a 1 3/4 inch cut instead of the 1.5inch cut. Looking foward to putting one through a big ole doe!

100g spitfire, all have been pass thrus & will keep on shooting them cause nothings broke & needs fixing :)

only expandables ive tried out of my xbow were the rages and they kept opening in flight.

i just prefer fixed blade in an xbow or compound bow. ive got 3 slick tricks, 3 muzzys and 3 of the $10 broadheads from walmart and they all shoot exactly the same. only reason i have the slicks is cause they came with the xbow. when they break or dull out ill just buy the muzzys or cheap ones from walmart. if there sharp and you put a good shot on something its gonna die no matter how much the BH cost ;)

I use 4 blade 100gr muzzys they have been the most accurate for me. I shoot a 175lb ten point crossbow now and they work great with it as well. took 4 deer last year with no losses. Good luck

If the above is the case, then don't even think of changing to anything. I shoot both fixed and expandables. They fly the same and it just depends on what arrow I pull out of the quiver. The crossbow can't see them so how would it know?

you need to change the o ring or shock collar that woukd solve your problems.

I shoot Rages through an Excalibur w/200# limbs around 330 fps. All shots have been complete pass throughs. Never had one to open prior to impact. Rage will just come short of field dressing a deer. Very very deadly. I have never seen a blood trail that wide. NEVER!!!

Sorry but I refuse to shoot mechanical for the same reason I only shoot recurve crossbows. "Less moving parts" less chance for something to go wrong. I know there is a really great track record for using expandables these days but for that very small percentage that something could go wrong combined with some people killing deer with simple field tips (for accuracy) through both lungs well then I would rather stick with a fixed broadhead. No argument for expandable Im just telling my personal preference. Blood trail or no blood trail then a dependable hole through both lungs is more important to me. That's just my opinion. Thanks for listening and good luck no matter what you use as long as you take that ethical shot.

I used Rage Crossbow 125's last year. I was skeptical, but I killed one doe with a Rage and she didn't go far and bled a lot.

I'll keep using them. They are accurate.
