Appleby played as well as possible. I don't see Del Rio being any better

Why would there be a controversy? Has Appleby been benched?

LDR is the clear cut starter... Appleby played well but LDR is more accurate and smarter on reading the defense. AA should have checked out of some of those plays in the second half.

They still have Del Rio for 2 years after this season if they think his the QB of the future (next 2 years) I don't see why you don't keep giving him the experience if healthy.

Saw somebody say that Lamar Jackson wanted to go to UF but they didnt recruit him.

There's an unwritten rule that most coaches stick to. Players don't lose their starting job because of an injury.

I'm not sure if Drew Bledsoe would agree with that.

Yep... Muschamp didn't recruit him until the last month. He wanted to come but had been committed to Louisville so long that mom said no. Gotta respect that about her.
