Thankful for another season.....and hope that God will let me have another one!

Had a bird yesterday at 80yds on neighbor property, but the real deal went with him......couldn't get him to cross the property line.

My biggest lesson learned this year was to not settle for what I have, meaning find more property, not in a greedy sense.....but I think when you hunt the same place you can get bored or even complacent and not hunt as hard.

Any recommendations for hunting in Texas? Kansas?

Now it is time to focus on deer season, roughly 109 days until KY Archery and 123 for TN Archery....give or take a day for my public math

My success skyrocketed when I realized that I wasn't married to the family property, and that I wasn't committing adultery by hunting elsewhere :D !

I definitely am ready for some fishing, but I really hate the end of turkey season. Doesn't matter how much I hunt, I never burn out, and hate to see it go.

On my list of things to do.
