Seems like a lot of people had the same type morning I had. Birds were loud on the roost then quiet. I am not nearly experienced to know why. So for you pros what caused this?

Hens. If you got a good gobbler population then you're more likely to find one that's vocal. Birds are still flocked up here and you usually want have much ground gobbling during this period till they start busting up

Not always hens, there are lone birds too that didn't gobble all day. For some reason birds started gobbling a lot in the evening and one of em gobbled all the way to dark. Not sure why they are quiet some days, it's turkey hunting.

Peak breeding. Blowed up like a Volkswagen spinning around. The best advice I ever got was there's twice as many gobblers as u hear and if u hear 0 that means 5. Lol
So 2 x 0 = 5 ???? :tu:

Had one gobbling well before sunrise only for about 15 minutes. Never heard another sound after that.
