..with her car!

She was driving down one of the main 5 lane roads in the middle of town, and a turkey hen ran out of a small field. Instead of flying or running from the car, she tried to hunker down and freeze in the middle of the road. Didnt quite get low enough, so she currently resides in the refrigerator at our house.

Funny thing was, the wife told me I had to mount the fan for her, it being her first turkey and all. I told her I would, but she's not allowed to kill them with the car anymore.

I have seen more turkey road kill this year than I ever have before.

I have too. Last saturday comin back from huntin, we saw 2 dead then had to stop for a hen standin in the middle of the road. This was on the same road and they weren't there before daylight.
