I went out this afternoon with my bow in hand hoping i could finally shoot my first buck.

Well about 4:00pm a doe went running by me and disappeared. Then she came back in front of me. I stood up waiting for a buck but he did not show. A little later the doe showed up and then the buck. He was a small WIDE 4 pt that i was willing to shoot. Well I got a chance finally but it happened so fast that I missed him.

No clue where my arrow went. This is the second time i have shot at a buck in 2 weeks and missed. Will I ever get one?

You will bro, it took me 3 years but through learning and paying attention to land details, deer sign/activity it is paying off. You have action happening so keep at it!

Hey man just get back in the tree with full confidence in your abilities and van brother you will arrow one man !!!! Good luck and call me I will help u drag it out!!!

I will tell you this, I missed two deer a few years ago, NICE deer at that. A 9pt at about 30yrds missed low, and an 8 at about 20yrds. It was the first time I missed anything since I had began hunting. Well it got in my head and it seemed I couldnt hit the broad side of a barn the rest of the season, but honestly true story, I missed a 3pt (needed a confidence booster..LOL) at 10 yards..NO JOKE...and it made me made, he ran off and stopped at around 52-54 yards, and I knew he was close to 50, So I knocked another arrow and without thinking settled my 50yrd pen (yeah I have the G5s, too many pins) and let if fly and couldnt have made a more perfect shot. This put me right back on track and I have been pretty good since...JUST KEEP TRYING! and DONT LET THIS GET IN YOUR HEAD!
