is that a good turkey gun we have one but have never used it cause there aint no turkeys on our place but thought i might try it somewhere else this year. what shell would you recommend it only accepts 2 3/4 and 3".i have a ext full choke in it.how many bbs should i be going for on one of them turkey targets

3" Winchester supreme high velocity #5 shoot it at 40 yards at a 10" circle and I'd say u want at least fifty but the more the better. I have killed a turkey with one but mine didn't have intrchangable chokes good luck

They are more than capable of killing turkeys. A Winchester 1300 is my go to rig, slightly modded of course. The load mentioned above is spot on and I use a Comp-N-Choke .665 XXX full.

My oldest son killed his first couple of Turkeys with a Win 1300 in 20 ga with 2 3/4 in shells. Not ideal but will definitely kill them if you stay in your effective range!

I have shot this as well. 3" Rem Nitros, Full Choke. Have shot at 40 and had success, but every gun is different. As stated above, KNOW YOUR RANGE... and Shoot ethically.

BTW the closer you let em get the more fun it is, Be patient... Have a ball youre gonna be hooked.
