My dads got a the above gun, that was handed down by my great grandfather. This was the gun that my great gf turkey hunted with. They said every spring he and some others would make a trip to central alabama to hunt and this was in the 20s. I have made plans to kill a turkey with this gun since i heard some of my family tell about that when i was young. I think if i get one under my belt pretty quick this year i am going to break it out and try it. I would have already tried it but im coming off a 4 year stint of not killing a bird. Last year i killed the first turkey i had killed in 4 years and i killed 3 of them. This gun holds great patterns it has a full choke and only shoots 2-3/4 but i have won a couple long shot contest with it in the past, with 63 pellets (7-1/2s) on target at 57 yards. sorry for the long pointless post just thought i would share
