Geez, it's 25-30 gusting here in the valley, I can imagine what it's doing up above me on the Mtn. Hoping I'll maybe get going and get a couple of evening hunts in before season ends in the regular world. No CWD days out here in the East so this weekend will be it. 2 years straight without a buck. It's been a long time since I've gone 1 year without killing a buck, and even longer going 2. Getting old sucks.

I feel your pain. Today and tomorrow are my last two opportunities this year. Was going to go this evening, but not in this wind. Maybe tomorrow evening will be better. I have put a small one in the freezer though, so there's that.

Loaded the for wheeler up in the back of the truck I'm going to try and go in the morning. There's this place a buck got by me last year late . Hadn't hunted it at all this year so going to try it out tomorrow morning .

Was windy here earlier. I am thinking about going tomorrow. With the temps going back below freezing they should be moving.
Getting old sucks
Yep. Doesn't take much these days to aggravate my back, and aches sure seem to last longer. Beats the alternative though.

Hang in there. It goes like that sometimes. Seems deer hunting is often feast or famine. If it weren't for the crappy seasons I wouldn't be able to appreciate the great ones.

Woke up yesterday morning to eyes full, and I mean FULL of blood. The Dr's and Pharmacists have totally screwed up getting my BP meds called in, after the Dr had called in my Rx as 1 a day, when I was taking 2 a day. The Pharmacist thought I had taken too many and it wasn't time for a refill, Dr drag-assed and didn't try to correct their mistake and left me without for a couple of weeks. About 7 days in I called my cardiologist and had them refill my old Rx so that I would at least have something to take, but a little too late for the side effects I guess. I looked like a monster in the mirror!

Mup don't feel bad. 2018 I foul shot a nice buck. Just had put the peep sights on my 30/30. Just skimmed his front leg. December 17th this year I missed a real nice buck. That would have easily been my biggest. I've only got 2 days left myself. Still time to get it done But not much time. Hope you get one buddy.

Well I did get to go after work, but as I suspected it was dead on my place. And right about 30 min before dark the new landowners that adjoin the back of my property decided to ride their 4 wheeler and Kubota UTV down the property line LOL. I was over 100 yards away, but could see them very well with the leaves all gone, and could hear them even better. Oh well, I should have tried getting out more earlier I guess. I saw some deer and witnessed and even videoed a couple bucks tending does this season, so it wasn't a total loss by any means. Still blessed to be able to go some here and there, just not as full bore as I used to. :)
