I've been fletching arrows for a long time and have sort of taken on the roll of the "bow guy" at work. I do a lot of fletching for friends and co-workers. Anyway I was asked to fletch a dozen for a friend of mines' new wife. She wanted pink so I decided to see what I could come up with. Thanks to Jeff at Benton Shooters with the suggestion too because I think these are by far the best looking I've ever fletched. Man they are bright too. But mostly I'm here to show off the results of the new Mini Fletcher by Arizona Archery. It does the same thing as the Bohning Helix for the Blazers but this one does 3 fletches at one time. It puts a great helical and 3 degree offset on the 2" vanes. Anyway here's one of her arrows and a look down the shaft at the helical/offset:

And now a bit of a question for myself. Of these two...which do ya think I should go with for hunting this year?

The charteuse/tiger look is pretty visible in the targets and such but in early bow season, everything is green/yellow. LOL I don't know how well it would stand out. The other one is a custom wrap I had done but I'm thinking I may just go ahead and use those for target only. Not real sure just yet.

If it wasn't for an ego thing I believe I'd have me some of those pink/white ones for myself because of being so visible. What do ya'll think?

That pink fletching looks great! And you are dead on with the green/yellow in the woods early season. I would have no problem killin a deer with pink flecthings. Sure you'll get some razzin, but isn't that whar deer camp is all about?

I might be sending you my arrows at the end of season to strip my fletchings and redo in pink and white, that looks very visible.

I used two pink and one white for the last couple or 3 years. They show up good. I went back to flo. orange and white this year.

I saw some guys on TV doing some 100 yard shooting with their bows; they were shooting baseballs in a ball field. Anyway it prompted me to give this a try and long story short, I quickly found out that a 10 mph cross wind can have pretty drastic effects on an arrow flying 100 yards. So I got to try out the charteuse wraps in tall grass and let me tell ya....they stink.

I had to go grab the metal detector to find the arrows. So needless to say, they will be coming off tonight. Pink/White -- Here I come...or at least florescent orange.
