Currie tried to maintain a secret search, giving many folks — including donors and coworkers — little idea in the direction he was going with the search. Currie did himself no favors by refusing to give some prominent donors an update when they called Currie trying to get the latest on the search.

How close was Greg Schiano to being the Vols head coach? Sources have told Volquest that Schiano was at the airport getting ready to board a plane and depart for Knoxville when he got word that Tennessee was pulling the job offer.


While the fan revolt looked bad on a national level, no one can argue that the end result isn't better.

Regardless of the PS stuff, when just comparing the two resumes, Pruitt scores a lot higher for the TN job.
 
Did you see the part of that report that said Currie basically told Chad Morris he was probably going to be fired. He stepped out of his interview with Morris multiple times to answer phkne calls and pretty much told Morris he thought he may get fired. LOL.

Yes. That's crazy. The whole deal has the makings of a great book. I bet Clay Travis is already working on it!
