I was there and was only about 100 yards from it. Craziest thing I have ever seen. Everything fell silent till he put the window net down. Unbelievable that a man can walk away from something like that. The engineering of those cars is incredible.

How about the engineering of the fence? Can't believe the car hit the fence in mid air and it stopped it from going into the fans. Although a few fans did have some injuries, it could have been a lot worse. I wonder what the total dollar amount was for all the cars that was wrecked? Makes for a great race to watch, but there would be a lot of teams that couldn't race if they all had wrecks like that.
