WTB Homebrew Kit

I am interested in purchasing a homebrew kit. I want to go with a kit just to get the hang of things. I am tired of buing POS cameras from a factory that screw up to often.

Does anyone know of a kit I can purchase. I would also like to buy a digital camera that I can just plug up instead of soldering wires and dissecting the camera. I don't have much experience with circuit boards or soldering wires. I thought a kit would help me get the hang of things.

Any suggestions?
