WVU QB Clint Trickett calling it quits

He has said he will retire from football. He won't play in WVU bowl game against A&M. He has been unable to get cleared by medical staff for a concussion he received against K State. He has reportedly suffered 5 concussions within 14 months. Sounds like the guy has taken some serious shots.

That sucks, hate to see anyone hurt, good luck to him in the future.

Sounds like a Doctor may have given him no option but to quit. That is a lot of concussions in a very short time. He is probably still feeling the effects from all of those hits. I hope he has no long term effects and I wish him the best. I'm sure he hated to give it up.

Good for the doc. However, had he been having ill effects after any of the others, they might should have pulled the plug sooner.
