Rich and I got back last night from WY. It was a great week of hard hunting, weather swings and no sleep.

I shot this 10pt Friday night. We couldn't find the arrow or sign in the dark so we didn't push it. After a short search Sat morning Rich found him for me 250yds or so from where I shot him. I was tickled to death. This is my best buck since I went bow only in '05!

Outfitter was great, company in camp was great and of course my travel partner was top notch. Thanks again Rich!

Yep, Great hunt for sure. Jay, That is one great looking buck for sure. You should be VERY proud of your hunt, time in the woods and the lessons we both learned. I feel like I have matured as a hunter by five years in the last week.

I also learned that TN has some outstanding hunters that they should be proud of. We had 3 other TN hunters in camp and they were super guys. Our very own Username was there with us and not only is him and his partner(not in a gay way :) ) Clay great guys but WOW! can they hunt.
 
Congrats on the nice buck , Jay . I have been waiting to see the results of your hunt , and it looks like you guys did good .
 
Thanks richman but you didn't have to go and call Clay a good hunter. :)

It was good to meet you fellas. Good luck with the rest of the season and give me a shout if you'd like to hook up and go hunting somewhere new.
