Well, good weekend so far. I sold a rifle, a safe queen, to free up funds to buy a Remington 870 youth, but after calling Pioneer Gun Shop in Bolivar TN and found out he had several 870`s to look at, and he has taken trades in the past, so I took my Winchester SXP 20 in hopes to make a trade. We got it done, so I am now the proud owner of a 870 youth full camo in AP Hardwoods. Brought it home and fit a barrel I bought last year knowing that before long I`d have a 870. Its a factory 23" barrel. I`ll shoot the one came with it, the 21" and see if there is any difference in pellet count. I do know this older barrel looks so good inside it reminds me of looking down a Browning, or Benelli, Its beautiful. If it outshoots the 21" I`ll have it dipped. So I had extra funds to dive into the TSS world, and ordered my components last night. Roost 1 helped me and found 2 pounds TSS #9. I know that wont go very far, but plan on ordering more very soon from Hal. I put a light weight trigger spring in and worked the metal to rid creep, so the trigger is done, I ordered a cheap scope, but feel I may like it fine, a Konus Pro 2 1/2x I will drill and tap reciever for the Remington factory base for the 870 made by Weaver. I must lay blame to all the great stories and pictures of patterns I see here. Yall done it!!

Anyone looking for a Winchester SXP Universal Hunter, factory drilled and tapped, with Bushnell Trophy scope, and Sumtoy choke, I bet he wont have it long!!

Congrats Tim, you won't be sorry. If you ever need any loading components, or TSS for that matter, I am just down the road from you. I do not keep the shot on hand (other than my own that I do not sell), but can reach out to 2-3 guys and see what their best prices/delivery times are at the moment. Best of luck, I'm sure you will find a way to push the envelope with TSS too. :)
