So I hunted one of my stands I call the "condo" because it's a 2 man stand with a blind over it. Anyway it's at the top of a gently sloping ridge where the deer move from south to north in front of it (usually). Anyway yesterday evening I hunted it and right before dark I saw a shooter buck at about 75 yards away but it was thick and he disapeared fast. I have a stand about 125 yard north east on the side of this ridge/hill from the condo that I put in years ago. I watched that buck walk almost to that stand (as best as I could tell). Anyway I'm sitting in the stand on the side as we speak. As I got up in this stand and got settled I looked down 5 yards and noticed a fresh scrape and a rub. If I were a betting man I would say that guy made those yesterday evening right after I saw him. I'll keep my fingers crossed lol.
