He actually said it was "JUST as loud as Rocky Top". You should know better than to take someone else's word instead of checking yourself.

I don't see where Bruce said Spurrier said it was louder.... man ur sensitive here lately.

But louder as loud as Rocky Top is still embarrassing. :tu: ;)
 
He is from Johnson City also, he wasnt heavily recruited by UT for college ball coming out of highschool. I think thats part of his digs at UT through out the years.

When you actually WATCH the video, it's really not as big as a dig at TN as this guy wanted to make it out to be. But, he accomplished his goal and hooked fish with his fake news, who then in turn couldn't wait to post it on a rival's message board. I don't blame Bruce. He just took the bait.

But, I'm sure he appreciates your rush to his defense!

And like others mentioned, it's good to know that we're still in Spurrier's head.

He also said it was maybe as loud as the swamp. He wasn't taking a jab at anybody, he was praising the crowd that was at the game.

I've met him and know many that have been at events that he spoke at. He CLAIMS he has nothing against TN. Had a friend tell me at an event he went to that he was speaking at, he went into a whole story about how he didn't know why TN fans thinks he hates TN and thinks he makes fun of them. Said, he wanted to play there, but TN didn't want him so he had to go to FL.

Said, he hates GA and that their fans have a reason to hate him, because he never misses a chance to make fun of them.

Of course that's just what he said, and he sure does give TN fans ample reasons to dislike him with all the :poke:

he may want to stop making jokes about TN and start worrying about his and his players next paycheck.... :tu:
