He made the deal ditching Tebow (very unpopular by some as I recall) to bring in Manning, who by some accounts was just waiting for a broken neck.

And then made the deals to solidify the defense AND got a new coach.

Not sure Osweiler is the answer going forward, but he might be.

I heard Osweiler, Von Miller, Malick Jackson , and a few other big time Defensive guys guys are all Free agents next year.

The rumor is They will use there Franchise tag on Von, And try to resign the main Defensive pieces before they even worry about Osweiler.

Makes since they did just win a superbowl with nothing put Defense pretty much.

Elway Pushed the right Buttons, and pulled the right strings while putting that team together.

I give Elway credit for building up the defense. I'm glad to see Peyton go out a winner but let's face it. Peyton was below avg. this season and on the down hill slide. It happens to all great players that hang on to long. Denver's "D" carried the team and all Peyton had to do was manage the offense. :)

I wonder how many Bud lights Peyton got down last night...

I don't know how many Peyton threw back but I know how many I'm gonna throw back just as soon as the beer man runs..... :tu:

Beast of a defense!!
Oz will be back at QB.
Clady will be back.
Offensive line another year to mesh.
They may end up better next year.

He did say he was going to drink "a lot" of Budweiser. I have no reason to doubt him. :rotf:
