Youth Hunt

Taking 3 boys. Pressure! The older 2 can hunt alone, but there is my 8-year old. Bought a BOG deathgrip so he "can aim the gun himself" this year. Apparently he got angry he sat in my lap to kill his first bird as a 7 year-old last year and I helped him hold up the gun, lol. Saturday weather seems to have cleared up so we're excited. And if the virus can find us deep in the woods, let it take us there. Good luck to everyone going.

Taking my 6 year old for the first time that he is actually taking more than his bb gun lol I'm like a kid at Christmas

I will be carrying my two youngest boys. This will be my 9 year olds first time to shoot and my 12 year old has got a few birds under his belt. So it should get pretty interesting with the young one. I already know he will get busted moving but he will learn that lesson the hard way just like his brothers. Good luck to all the youngsters this weekend!

Will have 2 six year old boys in a blind.. Too bad its not sound proof...

Taking me 13 year old daughter. We went Wednesday scouting three places. Saw several at one place and heard gobbles the other two. She is excited!! We are going to load the truck up today.

Good luck to all of the youngsters and the adults taking them. Be safe and best of luck in the woods this weekend. We want to see some kill pictures.

This should be a great youth hunt all across the state from what I've read from all the members post this week. I'm seeing a lot of lone gobblers running around and still seeing a lot group up too. The farm we are starting on we roosted 5 long beards and about 2 dozen hens. So it will be hard first thing in the morning. Hopefully we can get one to commit early but If not it will be fun just being in the woods with the youngsters! Good luck to all in the morning!
