Who gets the W? I can't bet against Saban. Especially against Kirby "Not So" Smart. But, something about this line is off. It seems Vegas is begging you to bet on Alabama. Putting that aside and remembering Georgia hasn't won a NC since the Chevette was the best selling car in America, Jimmy Carter was president, and home mortgage rates were 17%, I gotta go with Saban. However, I won't bet on this game, and I bet on a LOT of football. Since they can't both lose, I wish we still had the old rules where the game could end in a tie.

I can't believe that the line has stayed GA favored.

With that said, there is something to be said for this:

Throughout the over 150 years of college football history, a total of five rematches with national title implications have been played. In all five, the loser of the first game has emerged victorious.

But, I won't believe GA has won until the clock hits 0:00.

This is the first championship game I can remember not caring if I watch a single minute of.

I'm gonna guess I'll see bama won it when I wake up tomorrow morning.

Over and under should be on how many sideline penalties Kirby gets . LOL

ALABAMA for the win .

I haven't bet the game yet either, but as I said 10 days or so ago. I just don't think I would bet against Saban. I'll probably just place a few low risk/high reward prop bets.

I don't remember who it was trying to shame me for "betting with my emotions" but its still a fact that blindly betting on Alabama/Saban for the last decade or longer (I've only been betting for a couple of years) has proben to be a winning strategy.

I wish I could place a bet on how many people will declare the Alabama football dynasty dead if Georgia wins tonight. Win or lose, I'd bet a ton of money that Alabama will be in the playoff again next year.

You do remember who it was, and nobody was trying to "shame" you. And I had no idea talking about your betting strategy would hurt your feelings so badly that you couldn't get past it. But, if you are going to bring it up, yet again, include everything I said. Don't cherry pick the part you want to make you right. Here's what I said:

When I see an alabama fan consistently bet on alabama, and against Auburn and Tennessee, my first thought is he is betting with his heart and not his head. I never bet on a Tennessee game (unless it's a friendly $20 bet with a friend). I looked back at your bets you've posted since the beginning of season and couldn't find one time you bet against alabama or on Tennessee or Auburn. Yet you bet on alabama and against Tennessee and Auburn multiple times. Coincidence? Maybe, but it's easy to be influenced by your likes/dislikes.

And I stand by what I said. I can assure you sportsbooks LOVE people that bet on their favorite team, regardless of whether it's a good bet or not. They make $Millions$ off these people. I've seen a lot of ways to handicap games, but I don't think "I like Team X so I'll bet on them, and I hate Team Y so I'll bet against them " is a sound strategy.

I think ALABAMA will win tonight AND I think ALABAMA will be MUCH stronger next year than they were this year.

ALABAMA will have a Hiesman awarded quarterback at the helm. A seasoned offense. A seasoned defense. Another great recruiting year and no telling what Saban pulls out of the portal to secure some depth.

The Dynasty is far from dead.

That's a whole lot of banging on a keyboard. Having a mental Breakdown? This Sports Talk Stuff must be living rent free in your head. Maybe you should try needlepoint.

That's hilarious. Did you have a tally sheet or something?

Yes, I paid for my familys Christma (presents and food) with my winnings this year.

Thanks for being a fan.
I'm a gambler. Wagers interest me. When someone posts their bets I'm interested to see if I can learn anything from them. I didn't need a tally sheet. You updated the wins and losses yourself. Maybe you didn't post the weeks where you won big. I can only go by what I saw.

Half of it was copy and paste. Surely you've heard of it. We've gone from "see you on the 50" to "skulldrug" to "living rent free in your head". I guess we'll see what the next catch phrase is that you post in every thread.

I couldnt pay for a stamp on a Christmas card with what i made betting.

In early December I hit Three "First TD's" in a row. I played all three straight as well as all 3 with anytime TD's. 2 were parts of in game parlays. Its documented here:
