I had tix to that game and didn't go. I was mad as all get out in the second half. That duck didn't pull the truck that half
 
I still can't believe CBJ beat both UF and Georgia in a season......Wait let me fix that.

I still can't believe Josh Dobbs & Jauan Jennings beat Both UF and Georgia in a season.

Still when Tennessee starts Getting Hype, big games, checker Neyland, Favorites to win At home.......is usually when they hit the fans with a famous Gut punch. Just like that 2016 season.... take down Virginia Tech in the battle at Bristol, beat UF in comeback, beat UGA hailmary.... lose to South Carolina & Vandy.

99% of the people that say bowl games mean nothing are idiot bandwagon bammers that want to act like anything less than playing for a natty is a waste of time. These are the same morons that never suited up, never had teammates they considered brothers, and never watched the clock run down to zeroes for the last time. They deserve as much attention as an ant on the sidewalk.

Yep. I have a love/hate relationship with those guys. Love the way they played, but they gave Butch 2-3 more years here.

Unlike you we don't play for our team. We are just fans. Also unlike you we have no control over wins and losses. What we discuss has absolutely no bearing on the record. Unfortunately (also unlike you) they don't even let us meet the opponent's captains on the 50. I realize our discussions here seem silly to someone that is actually on the team, but try not to laugh at us. We are just fans.

It's a new generation, brother. My pessimism is waning.

We're on the cusp of being basked in college football glory; AND, if it's not this year, ho-hum, we'll get 'em next year :D !

How recent is recent? Teams under Fulmer always fared better when TN was the underdog. I always thought Fulmer coached not to lose when favored vs being the underdog and having nothing to lose.
 
Be interesting to see how the line moves after yesterday's games.

If Tillman and Small are out, that would worry me some.

I am impressed with the defense so far. The run D looks much stronger, and I think that's the key as I don't see Richardson suddenly finding accuracy. The FL boards are calling for another QB.
