I have to admit, I'm worried that this may be a trap game.

Off week, getting a lot of love, top 10, Bama next week.

Looks like the line has moved anywhere from 4-4.5 TN favored to now 2.5-3.

I think that signifies a lot of people were taking LSU and the points.

Oh well, it's fun to be in this position again.

I say UT in a close one again 27-31. Hooker adds 3 Tds to his total with impressive numbers.Vols score 30+ points for the 8th straight game.

5-0 Top 7 UT vs 6-0 #1 Bama needs to happen.

I watched the LSU vs AU highlights this morning I knew AU blew a 17pt lead. I didnt know AU threw 2 picks lost 2 fumbles and got shut out in the 2ed Half. I may have to eat Crow but I'm gonna guess UTs offense don't have 4 turnovers and 0 points in the 2ed half.

The sportsbooks aren't raking in huge profits because the general public knows how to pick games. From what I'm seeing the sharp money is coming in on Tennessee and the public is betting LSU, but there isn't much interest in this game from the sharps.

If they are overlooking LSU and looking towards Bama then they are all idiots. Always take all games, but especially SEC games on the road very serious.

I wouldn't think they would be looking past a ranked SEC game on the road. I would guess they have spent two weeks with all focus on LSU. This coaching staff knows better than that.

Nobody looks past death valley regardless if an up or down year. Tough place to play. I think Heupel is making sure his boys are focused on the task at hand. If our secondary can pretend to be half decent, then we mop the floor with them. If not...

It is just Tuesday, a lot of time to get anxious. Don't peak too early.

Heuple is 6-1 in his career as a head coach after a bye week. The lone loss was a 50-49 defeat at Memphis in 2020. Last year he took the Vols up to Lexington and knocked off the best team Kentucky has ever had, who were lead by the undisputed 2023 #1 NFL draft pick.

In the loss to Memphis, UCF was up 12 with 5 minutes left in that game. Memphis scored, did not recover the onside kick with 3:40 left on the clock. One minute later Memphis had the ball back. 4&3 with 1:34 Memphis took a shuttle/shuffle pass 50ish yards. They scored 3 plays later and gave the ball back to UCF with 1:08 on the clock at the 25 drove it down and missed a 40 yard kick to win the game.

My trap game comment was aimed at 18-22 yr old young men. They are all about social media etc, and they have definitely heard the buzz, or rat poison as Saban said last year.

And most have no idea about LSU because they haven't been relevant in the recent past.

And you can bet that they are looking forward to Bama next week.

This is where it's the coach's responsibility to keep them focused, but even the best have trouble doing this, ala Saban and Texas at the first of the year, and GA last week.

I'll feel much better if we take the ball, march for a score, then hold them to a 3 and out, and then score again :) !

Wow, Nat media should lay the pipe down.
I would assume undisputed #1 pick would mean all the draft gurus agreed. Admittedly, I don't follow NFL draft predictions but I've never even heard of Nat Media. After putting "2023 NFL Mock Draft" in a search engine I see pretty much every website has a different #1.
