If I were drawn....I would probably over there all the time till green up. Then just make sure my gun was working, exercise regularly, study maps, and then hit it again in Sept.
I would also try to reach out to others that had been successful in that area.

Yep. Success rate is pretty high, areas are fairly small, so learn the lay of the land and be prepared. Be in shape and practice, practice, practice shooting. Dry firing is great practice if you practice right and are honest with yourself. Plan your entry and stalk routes based upon wind direction and thermals
