I got 4 blueberry and 6 raspberry plants in the ground yesterday (beautiful day). Blueberry took the longest, had to work the ground up and also put up a fence(netting) around them if not the deer would have had them tender bushes chewed to the ground this morning. Raspberry area I had been planting stuff there for about 3yrs and it was already fenced with netting. Hopefully they all thrive, also I have 3 apple trees and 2 more blueberries on the way, Stark bros projected shipping is wk of 23 mar.

Good luck with the Stark Bros.
I ordered some and planted last fall and got buds 2 weeks ago.

Also look up adding sulfur to your plants.

I hope yours do well!
My raspberries will be here end of the month.

I tested the soil in both areas a few weeks ago and started amending the soil. For the Blueberries/raspberries I planted them in good sized holes with amended soil and berry specific fertilizer. I will keep a check on the PH and amend as needed since both like an acidic soil. I also have read you can use white vinegar diluted in gal of water to add a quick acid to the soil. May try it depending on next ph reading but will also stick to long term amending of soil.

What type of blueberries and raspberries are you planting? I may do more in the fall

Heritage,brandywine, and royalty raspberries
pink lemonade, blue ray and chandler blueberries.
I like growing stuff

I got 2 of the pink lemonade coming with my apple trees. The raspberries I planted I trimmed the cane down to about 4in after planting(per instructions). The trimmings I stuck in some water with rooting hormone, those are starting to grow roots. Im going to put them in some 6in pots with a good mix of soil tailored to raspberries see what they do.

My blueberries were planted last fall.
Buds on all of them.
Raspberries show up Friday.
One I thought was dead is budding.
See the price of raspberries in the store😳

I have Latham growing for several years and producing a fair amount of fruit. In winter-spring 2024 I failed to take proper care and most of the fruit fell to the ground.

To my complete surprise I have quite a few Raspberry sprouts with complete leaf sets and growing quickly.

Anyone know if they will bear fruit?
