I used to run 20 cameras on my place. I think I spooked more deer, stunk up my place, tweaked, lost more sleep, got distracted (cell cameras!!), and spent more money on batteries than u could imagine. I did not use them this year and had more enjoyment hunting than I can remember. I've gotten back to hunting like I used to before cameras. I can 100% see why people use them though. It was so cool to have a buck I had never seen walk by me. I even saw more deer........ to answer your question, I have tried the rechargeable ones and they worked ok. Big hassle if you have more than a couple cameras though. What kind of batteries do you guys use in you cameras. Also has anyone tried the rechargeable lithium.
This is what I use and they lasted me sense before deer season started and still with some power left other day. They may not last through a real cold spell but for the cost who cares.I use these from Harbor Freight. Hard to beat if you have a local store.
